Who we are

About the Chamber

A collaborative association of business and community leaders dedicated to the economic, social and cultural growth of Clay County, Kentucky.

Our mission

Business. Community. Opportunity.

The Clay County Chamber of Commerce exists to help local businesses thrive and to make Clay County a better place to live, work and visit.

We bring together business owners, nonprofits, educators and local government around a shared goal: a growing, welcoming Clay County. From Coffee & Connections to the Annual Awards Gala, our programs create the relationships that move our community forward.

General membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at noon. Members and guests welcome.

Our home

A small town with a big history.

Clay County was founded in 1807 and Manchester has been its seat since. Salt works, timber and coal built the county, and today a new generation is building on that heritage with distilleries, outdoor recreation, festivals on the courthouse square and a downtown that is coming back to life.

Known as the Land of Swinging Bridges, Clay County was named the SOAR Community of the Year for the collaborative spirit that the chamber is proud to be part of.
